Fortis Titan Tricopter never flown with Gimbal

I am now offering a gimbal with this model, as it appears that Fortis now offers a gimbal lower deck.

Please note that this is a rather large model. Those are 17" props on it! But, it does fold to a rather compact footprint, especially if you remove the props.

For sale is a Fortis Titan tricopter that I built and never flew. I built this towards the end of my time with this hobby. Life got busy and I never flew it, though I did spin it up.

I built this with the desire to make a long-flying FPV setup. It was based on the following build, which I copied, and the author reported 27 minute flight times with a 4s 5000mah battery:

http://www.otherhand.org/home-page/d...d-well-beyond/

Here is the build list:

Component Site Price
Frame with booms/mast, etc http://www.fortisairframes.com/cart.php $142.69
Motors (3x) http://www.getfpv.com/tiger-motor-mn3110-26-470kv.html $185.70
Yaw mechanism http://rcexplorer.se/product/tricopt...sm-3d-printed/ $9.00
Servo http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...1630&aff=61689 $28.90
Props http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...?strSearch=17x $54.96
Power Distribution http://www.ebay.com/itm/351174640921...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT $10.99
Flight controller + GPS APM 3.1 mini (ebay) $80.00
ESC (3x) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A3T39NG71SCCQP $48.60

Thats a total of $560 that I have tied up in this project, and you can buy it for $225.

I'm now offering a gimbal that I intended to mount on this tricopter. I never mounted it or flew the tricopter, as I stopped with the hobby before I got a chance to.

The gimbal is in the photos below. It has 2 of these motors:

The control board is no longer made, was purchased from HobbyKing as well. This is the current version:

What I would do, if you decide to buy this model, is go to the Fortis site and buy this:

http://www.fortisairframes.com/titan...-gimbal-frame/

That Fortis gimbal frame is made to attach to this tricopter frame. You can use the control board and the motors of my gimbal with this frame and have a great gimbal FPV setup (with your camera and FPV gear, of course.)

No receiver included.

Shipping available at buyer's expense.

No, but I graduated from WVU.

We live in Silver Spring, MD right now.

Shipping should be fairly inexpensive. It's already boxed up to ship.
