Generating Airfoils on cad.

Im looking to generate some really thick airfoils for my hydrofoil I have been working on. until now I have been using airfoils that I have downloaded the points for however I would like to try modifying some to make them thicker ect.

I have been looking at profili but wondering if there was anything out there for free that would allow me to do similar and just adjust the basics and then be able to import it in to my cad software?

At first I am basically just trying to generate a 15% thickness Clarke Y

many thanks

edit ( I may have found a 15% Clarke y but not tested it yet, if there are any other programs I would be very interested.

edit ( I cant seam to download the .dat file for the above so still trying)

javafoil can generate all the various NACA foils as well as modify any other foil and spit out a DXF file. 100% free but can be a bit quirky to learn. pretty adept at it myself so if you run into problems i could probably help you figure it out.

I think I have managed to find a way to use the airfoils too website to do what I need and import them into fusion 360 using a csv file.

To change the thickness of an asymmetric airfoils you must do more complex things than just scaling the y coordinates...

i find to design and adjust the airfoil compufoil3d is easier to use and you get a very good finish serif

Of course you need the license, to do that.
