1) With the gyro in _rate_ mode, can you stop the tail? If you can, it's probably the gyro. Probably not.
2) Given that the linkages seem to be OK, chances are something's slipping and you're not getting enough tail RPM. There are lots of choices in a T-Rex clone * One-way bearing. If it's become a two-way bearing, no good. * Autorotation gear; could have gotten stripped and is meshing badly (unlikely) * Tail drive gear. This is what I'd bet on. Small plastic gear engages with autorotation gear, drives belt pulley on same shaft. The plastic gear may have cracked or stripped, or the belt pulley could be slipping. If the frame holes are not perfect it's possible it's just moved a bit and no longer meshes. This part is an Achilles heel of this design and Align changed it a bunch of times. I haven't been able to find the V2 versions of this part for a while -- there are three, one pre-assembled with a new frame piece, one with a smooth shaft and separate belt pulley that you attach with circular retainer after cutting off the old one and passing the new one through the frame piece, and one with a splined shaft and belt pulley that's an interference press fit (HS1216 -- Tarot part TL1216 is the same). If you can't find any of those, you can get the Sport version (HS1013-1 or equivalent) and replace the tail boom mount (HS1303) as well. * Belt, but you said you checked it * Tailshaft. It's possible the pulley is slipping here, though I've never seen it. * Attachment of tailshaft to blade hub. This is a grub screw in a flat on the tailshaft; if the screw is damaged or loosened it may not be in the flat any more and just drags on the round part of the shaft. |

Found the problem (I think)
Alright guys,
I'm really sorry I didn't reply to any of your messages, But after a month or so I wanted to give it another try to resolve the problem and I think I found it:
I removed the main blades and moved the rudder stick without gyro and throttle and you can see the slider reaches the endpoints just fine but when I throttle it up, not even that much, when I try to go left and right the slider doesn't go all the way, only a small bit. It's not very clear on the video but it's definitely there. Hope you guys can help my out to fix this problem after such a long time. Sem |

I also set the endpoints on the transmitter manually. So the answer on your question is that didn't use the gyro at all, so that isn't the problem. |

might want to try a tail blades off spool up to see if you get full range . be better to take off hub and picht links so just slider then spool up test for full
range under rpm. ,if not then may need to start looking at progam settings |
