It will fly great! You did a wonderful job on the build. It's a very capable air frame but my favorite thing to do is slow passes! Just looks so darn good! Also fun to do tail slides, stall turns, and other very basic maneuvers. Knife edge will have a lot of coupling so be prepared to either "fly it" or to mix in aileron to the rudder. Not sure how much your electric version will pull, but I do have to use a bit of rudder with a 91 four stroke to keep it straight on take-off. Landings are a breeze! I was warned that being a pipe, it would have a lot of drag and to keep power on, but it floats in pretty nicely. Maybe my idle is too high, but I've never had issues with it slowing down too much. Stalls are a non event as well. I'm so excited for your's to get in the air!

Well Walt. It has been an absolute pleasure riding along with you on this build. I love the finished product just as much as I have loved reading and watching your progress on this build. I will be coming back to your thread often when I finally get around to starting my Hog Bipe and I am hoping that mine will look as good as yours when it's all done. I am now sitting here hoping that you will have someone with you holding a video camera for your maiden flight. I am sure we would all love to see that new baby of yours take to the air. I am still going to drop in here to see/read about how she goes and what you think of her once she has taken to the skies. I am also very keen to hear what you think of your power system and how it performs. All the very best for your maiden my friend.

will do. me too. i kept the gear stock location so i hope that wasn't a mistake. still need to stock up on 6s batts. i want to start using 6s instead of 5s in my classic pattern ships. i forgot about the super dragon float plane! looks sweet! nice thing about the dragon it was designed for electric from the start. thats a nice help. i missed that one in my search i guess. oops! im sure i saw it on sigs site and then forgot about it.

yes to be honest i kinda forgot or i would have moved mine too. as you can see i kit bashed the heck out of mine as well. just an oversight really. i chose the sealane as my next build as it looked pretty easy compared to the hog. after the sealane i have no idea. plenty to choose from in the stash. 40 size kaos, duallist 2/40 and smaller version duallist, bird of time glider that im putting a electric folder in the nose, me 109, and a dirty birdie 60! good times...
