FlySky micro PPM receiver Failsafe

Hello ladies and gentleman,

I'm new at the forum and the hobby itself. I've just finished my first quad and it does look good and seems to work, but I have to set up some stuff before going out and actually flying it. One of those things is the Failsafe. I was installing this receiver today:

and I found that the receiver has no failsafe feature. If I turn off the transmitter, the signal will remain in the last position before the disconnection.

My question is, can this be sorted out somehow? Either by flashing the receiver with new firmware or by setting up some sort of "software failsafe" in Betaflight? Did anyone had this issue before?

I can as well buy a new receiver, but I need one that outputs PPM or IBUS and that can work with my FlySky FS-T6 transmitter (AND has failsafe, of course). Any suggestions are welcome here!

I also read this today:

But that receiver is not exactly the one I got and for mine I don't even have the programming output. For all I know, I have to assume they are completely different devices, not the same in different shape.

I'm looking for some solution that can prevent me from delaying some weeks until I get my hands on new items (receiver, transmitter, flashing device, etc) as I want to get out and fly as soon as possible!

I appreciate any advice on this matter!

No such thing as a "software failsafe" if the receiver holds the last signal. The last signal is still a valid signal, so the FC has no means to detect that something is wrong.
