Lucky son. I grew up skiing in Killington and Pico. Went to school in Woodstock. Got friends and family scattered about there. Beautiful country. ******* cold these two months though! Wrap those lipos in foam to keep 'em warm. You won't need skiis for the ST, you can land it like a helicopter or catch it, but I would love to see some on it.

Enhance your images

Hi guys,

I have just discovered your thread and am wrapt!. I have learn't so much and
can't wait to build my first foamie. I have absolutely no experience with RC but love my photography. Can't wait to add a whole new perspective to my work.

A relatively new plugin from Fred Miranda is Velvia Vision. You have to pay a small fee but the results are worth every cent. Do you ever see those advertsing shots and wonder how they get such rich colours? They almost all use Fuji Velvia film which is renowned for its saturation. This plugin is a digital version that I thoroughly recommend.

Enclosed is an image with a before and after treatment from velvia Vision.

Thanks so much for all the helpful information that you guys have provided.

Velvia Vision uploads

Let's try again. My files were previously 220K and were rejected.
Hopefully they's be OK now that they're downsized. IM3 is prior to
Velvia Vision, IM4 is post processing.

You're on the money. Horseshoe Bay to be precise. I live in Townsville so it's
a half-hour trip by tinnie from Pallaranda. One of the most beautiful islands around but quickly getting developed beyond the price of the average joe.

Depron, Blucore, Cellfoam 88 ????

Hi Crooser,

Looks like you're from 'round here. Any idea where to buy Depron, Blucore or
Cellfoam 88 in Townsville? I've got calluses from dialing so much.

They do look nice and sturdy, and, uhm, breakable if I were behind the controls! But I guess thats why god invented tall grass.

The carbon fiber gear was off another plane that I bought from a friend at the field. Tried to get more but no go. The build guide has a simple way to make them using wire. Check here, https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...4&page=4&pp=15

Great pictures Tim! I think they might be better than your Casio. What do you think?

Aren't we living in a wonderful time when an ultra-light camera like the SD1000 can be mounted on the plane for these great pictures! I have an SD850 with image stabilization, and I wonder if that would make any difference?

Frank,

I like it so far. I miss the pixles for croping but I love the macro on the Canon! You can't beat the weight of this camera at 5 ounces.

Big Foot, you lost me on the difference question. The sd1000 has image stabilization too. Can you explain?

Me too !

These shot few hours ago in Vancouver, WA.
Pentax E30 died few minutes after take off (not because of crash or bad landing!) so now I'm off to buy new SD1000.

You'll love the SD1000. Can you post a pic of your ST?
