I know that this may be a little off topic but I am wanting to but the Phoenix Models Strega from Tower hobbies.

I want it to be pretty fast, and I don't want to buy a new engine... I have 2 fs70 surpass II engines sitting around including on into which I just installed new rings and cleaned and adjusted the valves... I know that a four stroke isn't likely to be a speed deamon but the static thrust calculator says it can go in the 80mph range with a 11/10 prop..

Is this reasonable? or 10/12? I don't want to be constantly fighting prop torque but I think this plane would be cool with a 4 stroke... I would probably put a turbo header on it for the sound.

anyone have experience with the strega? OS 70 propped for speed? anything?

I fly a straga with a os70 surpass... 13x6 prop... flies great, but I'm gonna bump up to a 90 next year. I like a little more speed
