FrSky R9 900MHz 16CH Long Range Receiver & R9M Module System

So what is this new RC frequency for CONTROL...
was this use for UAV telemetry?....

Can we see DragonLiNK UHF distance?

I've used 900mhz for video back in 2010, but not for RC control

A man with too many toys
The best is the new DragonLink V3 Slim system with telemetry. It's everything in one package.

The nice think about DragonLink is it automatically varies power so you are not blasting full power all the time like some others. A 900MHz system at 1W is never going come close to a 433 DragonLink system at 1.5W.

Depends more on the congestion in your area. The budget link difference between the two systems is 9 dB, which is not so dramatic if you have -80dB noise floor in 433, as is in many places now.

Also, if no 868 MHz, then this new system is a no go for EU, where 900 MHz is GSM, so uber congested.
LE: noticed later, they have available 868 MHz for EU.

Not the last... Frsky means a lot more to average non LRS people today than Dragon Labs
There will be more sales (and buzz) from racing guys, just to exhibit their last bling, than from classic FPVers.

My FrSky gear has always been so good I hope that this system works well. If I hadn't switched to 1.3 video this year I might have picked one up to try and gone 2.4 video instead. I assume it will have the same 1.3 video interference problems as Crossfire. Looking forward to more testing from those that have them.
