Not at this time, I cannot remember the reason Chris gave either. If I hear of floats for this I will pass it along.

Plane is the same size as the 65” duster, wondering if anyone tried the float for this size plane and modified for the tbm. Seems like the yellow floats will be a good match for the yellow tbm.

True but the attach points may be way different.

I used these floats. I did make my own struts to mount. Spray pained the to match the yellow color. I can post some pictures of final install if interested. I have flown her with and without the floats. Great flying characteristics either way.

Float installation

here are the pics. I used aluminum tubing to create the struts. I also included a picture of the mounting bracket I added for the rear strut. Pretty easy as there is ample access inside the fuselage. I used the main landing gear mounting for the front strut.

Thanks for the detailed pics. How did it feel with the extra weight?

Anyone has an extra Battery Top cover for the baby TBM. I know it's a long shot but I lost mine and hoping someone has one to offer, PM me please. Tried Extremeflight but they don't offer spare for the cover. Thanks in advance.

I would have transport it with the wings off, how difficult is it to take the wings on and off?

Very easy, you have the same exact bolts at the root as any other plane, but this one has the two struts (one per wing) but they really are very quick to install and remove. Nothing like a typical bipe is to assemble/disassemble. The struts add 2 minutes tops to the overall process.

Anyone used a motor other than the Xpower in this or the 65" duster?
Thoughts?
