Which would be better?!?

I'm converting a glow powered plane to Electric. I managed to get a it to fly on a speed 600 motor but kinda slow. I was wondering would a R\C car motor create more thrust with a direct drive system? (I have two motors - 20-turn and a 13-turn) What do you think?!?

No...

Geared motors almost ALWAYS put out more power than direct drive! The only places direct drive motors are good are in FAST pylon racers and ducted fans! For the most part, everything else flies geared these days.

Using a Kyosho Endoplasma motor, 4.6:1 gearbox and a 12x8 prop, you can fly around just about any plane about to 5 pounds on 10 cells! Some RC car motors work OK, but none work as well as this Kyosho RC car motor due to its large comm and brushes - another option is the Kyosho Magnetic Mayhem - less power, more flight time.

What airplane is it? How many cells? How do you want it to fly?

Its a corplast plane I built from scratch. It flys ok with the speed 600 but slow like a glider. I'd like to have a little acrobatics ability. It weights 2lbs 6oz Ready to fly w/battery, motor, esc, ect... I'm currently runing on a 8 cell AA 1100mHa pack.
