Help Identify Please
Hello everyone,
I recently acquired this plane (picture attached) from a man getting out of the hobby. For the life of me I can't seem to find what the name of this plane is. He gave me two build kits in bags that are suppose to be the same plane but it has no plans in them. One of the packages has a sticker with Shazam Telehobbies on it. After some research I cant seem to find anything with that name that relates to RC Airplanes. Thanks Nick |

It looks somewhat like a Balsa USA Stick 40 trainer, but with the wingtips and stabilizer tips squared off (which some builders would do). Hard to tell from your picture what the fuselage looks like and you didn't tell us what size engine it has. You might try doing a search for Stick 40 images, and see if it's a good match.

It has a .15 engine on it and does not have ailerons. I have another set of wings that I was thinking of making them flat and putting ailerons on. It is a ton of fun to fly like it is. I will get better pictures when get back home.

So not a Stick 40. Balsa USA once made a similar plane called the "Swizzle Stick 30," which they said was for an engine from .15 to .30. It had a 48" span and an 8" chord. Like the Stick 40, the wing and stab tips weren't squared off like yours, but the4 builder might have done it.
