Cool. When do you think the frames will be back in stock?

And what happened to the 1103 8000kv motors? I need a replacement...

Hey Dimitri,

I have an idea for a bigger brother version - how about a stretched Ascent able to support 2.5" - 3" props?

Mounting holes

Does it work with a FC that has 20x20 M2 mounting holes?

Cheers

This would be a perfect frame to use the new RunCam split if they ever make a micro version. I am too waiting for restock so I can order and start building my first micro racing multirotor.

Frame should be back in about week and a half, I'll update if it will happen earlier.

You can grab racerstar 1103 1000kv from banggood for now.

It has m3 20x20 so yes, it works. But if you need perfect alignment then need an adapter. I can mock up some standoffs with m2 holes, if you'd like.

Awesome frame guys, was a bit of a head scratcher on getting it together but once I did I am very impressed. Very solid and lightweight frame. Please make one for 3" and I will love you forever

My ascent frame came in today!!! Now the fun begins! I'm aiming for a super light build so I'm weighing every part and wire to see where I can save some grams. Since this one is going to be flown primarily indoors, I opted for the 1103 - 10000kv which is almost 2g lighter than the 1105-6500kv. My battery of choice is the Lumenier 400mah 2s 50c and weighs only 22g! I'm hoping to beat my pico x and come under 58g

i could never "fly" my 1103 8000kv's inside.
hover a bit sure, but way too quick to fly inside for me.

Exciting! glad they will be back in stock soon. Yeah a 3" version would be cool as well for those guys who don't want to get into the super tiny quads just yet lol. I may get a ARFUN 95 and swap the guts over once the frame is back in stock.
