I bought this a couple of months back. It's a sweet little charger that's right for my indoor flying planes in the off season. Arguably it's a little skinny on the output side for bigger lipos, but like most HiTec products it's well made, and it has a USB port to charge your smart phones or other devices.

I could never justify the high price of the Hitec sticker, is this another rebadged charger sold by Hitec?

I have an original X4 that was my work horse for years, i picked up a second hand X80Plus, and also have an X1. And just recently added a Thunderpower TP820HVC for my 6S batteries. Cheers |

It's higher power. The above link lists all of the details.
We just received them last week so it will be a few weeks until they hit shelves. Tower Hobbies typically has them first before anyone else. |

RDX1 tripping my breaker when I plug it into a wall
Hi everyone I have not been active in the RC hobby for many years . I have a couple small quadcopters and I have just bought a RDX1. This morning I had a 1S battery hooked up to the charger prior to plugging it into the wall. It tripped the breaker on a backup battery power supply that my PC is also plugged into. Is this because I had a pack plugged into the charger before plugging the charger into the wall? Any tips or help is much appreciated.

The manual does state to connect the charger to it's power source before connecting a battery.

RDX1 is not discharging to the proper storage voltage
I bought the Hitec RDX1 about 3 weeks ago. It has seemed to do a great job on my 1s 2s and 3s batteries. Although tonight I cam home from flying and had a few 1s batteries that I wanted to put into storage mode at 3.82 volts. The charger beeps and says its done. But the meter on the charger says it still has a voltage of 4.00 volts. I crossed referenced this with a multi meter and a Lithium voltage tester. All reading 4.0 volts. I have tried discharging at lower rates and discharging at higher rates. But it still does the same thing. It beeps saying its done but the 1s pack still reads at 4.0 volts not the 3.82 that it is supposed to be discharged to. Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem?
