King Kong fly egg 100/130mm

Looks like a shrunk down geprc lx5. They seem to have a trend of taking the popular larger frames and making them compact.

Just thought Id share. Here ya go!

Why 1102 with microswift and a heavy frame? These frames are heavy and the 1103 model doesn't make much sense. The 1105 will be a beast, but I'm not sure how much of the props are in the view.

The 1102's that are 8000kv rated, and tie that up with a 460mah 3s... it will go. With a 2435 prop, or even the penta blades... lots of interesting combos to try. Might even handle like a 5inch that you can toss around.

I don't think the 1102's can handle 3S with 2" props. let alone 2435 and again for an 1102 setup you want a light frame below 10g and a 4g AIO camera. If you want 2.5" 3S with microswift and a +20g frame, you'd need to look at lower kv 1104/1105 or at least the new RCX 1103's.

Ok. Dys 1104 4000kv should do the trick.

Anyways, hope they sell just the frame at some point.

They sell these KingKong frames on Aliexpress. I'd skip the 100mm frame since it's too heavy for a 2" build.

Get the 130mm frame and the KingKong 2840 props with 1105 5000kv to 6000kv on 3S. That will be a great acro setup.

If you want to go for 2.5" props, then get the FD120 frame which is 5 grams lighter than the KingKong 130, but still with 3mm base so very stiff. These 2435 props go well with this frame.

I've had the 130 for a week and I can say it's pretty much my favourite quad (around 10). Smooth, quiet and punch outs are amazing. Strong too, both props and frame has survived a few crashes very well, just bend the props back and flying again.

Was so impressed by this model I ordered the 100 as well. Was concerned before I flew it that the added weight would make it slow in comparison but not at all!

Where are you ordering from? Also I noticed the 100 is only like 2 grams heavier than the lizard95

Not sure about the weight compared to the lizard but it's definitely heavier than the KK GT series due to the aluminium roll bars, but they provide such good structure on crashes that I feel it is weight worth carrying.

Sorry, I'm not really set up to do reviews but if you have any specific questions please shoot them over and I will do my best to answer. A brief summary below based on several flights with the 130:

- Balanced out of the box, running BF 3.1.6, XM receiver for FrSky BNF
- Comes in a plastic box which includes a 350 2s battery rated at 35c, prop guards, landing feet (don't seem to fit), 3 pairs of props, prop remover, spare rubber bands & usb cable
- Assembly and overall quality is excellent, beyond the other ready built quads I have to date, I have several Eachines, Elf, BH & KK GT90. Only minor gripes is motor wires could have been heat shrinked to the frame and receiver is stuck on the bottom with double sided tape and antenna is dangling
- New designed motors are super quiet and thrust is incredible, comparable or exceeding my Arfun90
- Stock pids runs well on both 2s & 3s, not a huge difference on 3s but only tried on flight with a 300 3s
- Crashed it a few times and zero issues with the body, I initially thought the props would have broken but all was needed was to bend them back and flew again immediately
- Not flown FPV yet so I can't comment on the camera but I expect it to be the same level as previous KK models which have been quite good generally

I really enjoy this quad, along with my Arfun90, these are the best ones I have to date! Flies right out of the box with no drift, FOD or other niggling issues as compared to many out there. Hope this helps!

Better yet, do you think there is room in it for a runcam swift micro?
