Wow great job !!! Congratulations!
Too bad it was not for the mega arduino
I already have all the electronics arduino mega
But I do not know how to convert it
Great that you showed it to somebody will help it
In building own machine
Once again I congratulate and greet you

Nice work Varvar! I actually visited this website many times before, but like dj.pietrek I already had a Mega and the Ramps board....

Actually, these days, the options are pretty much endless and the TheRemino option is a very good one too! I highly recommend it!

I have a theremino board laying around here and the only reason I did not used it is because my machine is a hybrid milling/hotwire, so, whenever I want to mill or cut foam I would have to rewire the drivers....With the arduino mega I just change the firmware accordingly (mill or hotwire) and keep the wiring as is....

I'm thinking about having a dedicated hotwire (a portable one that could be stored somewhere) and dedicated milling machine. The hotwire would definetely use TheRemino and the mill would use GRBL.

I purchased a new RAMPS setup just to give this a try and it all works perfect except the fact I don't have a Windows computer to run the darn controller on. I haven't tried to cut anything yet but that will be the next step. It seems I can get by without the controller (for now) with some G-code-fu. ^_^

Thank you for your work here!
Source Code added to attachments on first post, let me know it is on the format you need....

If it is too much trouble to adapt the code to run on Linux, I highly recommend using TheRemino. It is very cheap, constantly being updated and the CNC software seems to be very robust on any platform. Also, you can still use your RAMPS board with it...

Hello budy, how are you,
Could you tell me how to use FoamXL 7.0?

Just got my Ramps and Arduino in the mail.
What length and dimension wire can you power, if there is only 12V available?

Edit: looked at the schematics for Jedicut, and they supplied 36V at the 11A input, so I guess it can handle it?

Hi Varvar, how are you?
Could you pass the wiring diagram of the shield with the nano?
Does this system work well with arduino-one as well?

Would be to work with the uno

Hello Varvar good evening,
As the system works well with namo or uno then the best option
Would be to work with the uno, therefore the shield would perfectly
Without jumpers, am I right?

Unfortunately pinout is different and can not be done same, as for 3-axis CNC shield

Uno with the shield

Hello, Vavar, good night.
So can I use Uno with the shield that will work perfectly? Do you have the schematic for connection with a + shield?

Understand the scheme

Hi Varvar, how are you?
Actually I'm not a technician, I do not understand the scheme! Could you send photos? Sorry lol
