Android Smartphone and Eagletree Vector

Is it feasible to use an android smartphone to communicate with the Vector? The intent is to place algorithms for collaborative behavior on the phone and transmit/receive position (LLA) data to/from the Vector. If so how? I'm under the impression - based on a google search that this can be done with Pixhawk via an OTG cable but I'm trying to avoid Pixhawk

I'd be mad without a Taranis!
Not with Vector - not yet. Possibly in the super near future.
