Matek Flight Controller F405-AIO

Matek is working on a new FC.

Tips, See bottom of this post.

After the successful Matek F405 with FCHUB-6S Matek is now working on a All In One FC.

Link to manual http://www.mateksys.com/?portfolio=f405-aio (Work in progress)

Product links https://www.banggood.com/Matek-Syste...8&rmmds=search status "In Stock"

Link to Matek FC group on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/1882519175321708/

And When matek says AIO they mean AIO because it even comes with soft-mounts, Glass fiber protector and a Low ESR 35v 470uF Capacitor.

Tips

1 Go to the Matek Website and see all the latest details http://www.mateksys.com/?portfolio=f405-aio

2 When you have weird behavior during take off, check if the quad movement is the same in Betaflight, forward is forward and right is right. If not check if you set board alignment to Yaw 270

3 DO NOT tension the ESC power cables, otherwise the soft mounting will be invalid.

4 Make a bench test w/o propeller & check the vibration in motors column of GUI.

5 Low ESR capacitor is must on the battery pads.

6 Arrow facing forward, Pls set the YAW Degrees “270”

7 The default setting for Dshot idle percentage was changed in the new BF version. Pls change the Motor idle throttle value back to 5~6.5, so as not to get the ESC desync.

8 If you use the SD BlackBox and get some issues. Pls type “set sdcard_dma = off” in CLI, Type”Save”. It is an open issue https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/issues/2631

9 Enclosed rubber anti-vibration standoffs are necessary to avoid the vibration woes.

10 If Gyro 32kHz & PID loop 16kHz, Blackbox logging rate 1kHz Max.
SD Card, FAT32 C10, 1~32G, But max.4G space can be used in Blackbox.

I like the layout of this, not many AIO fc with the xt60 mounted sideways. Good for frames like the chameleon.

I think this FC with a whitenoise board to mount the unify and the X4R Rx would be a great combination on a Chameleon. Two board stack and you're done.

I wonder if the BEC is continuous 2a or just 2a burst like the OSD board?

Nice, that's enough for a Runcam Split and led strip on 5v and VTX and rx on 9v

I am using the Split , 600mW VTX & one 8x2812LED strip on 5V rail.
Split recording with 0.55A load, my 5V VTX with 0.6A load.

That's quite a impressive load for the 5v only.
Very nice.

video noise?

would you expect the video noise levels on this board to be about the same as the F405 OSD, better or worse? I've found there is a little noise on the OSD board but a 1000uf cap seems to have fixed it. I'm wondering since the AIO ships with a cap that noise might have been more of a problem.
