AUW? How about these d silver motors, I can't find info on that size anyone have some info. Do you think it can handle 5s, 6s? Also do you think they have worked out the problems with the original gt 2 200? I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I knew it was as light or lighter than the shuriken x1, and had origional problems worked out from first version. Thanks!

Anyone have a recommendation for taranis frsky receiver for this.... The xsr ( which I currently use on my other quads) or xm+sbus?

Frsky says the xm/xm+ are full range so due to their small size and low price I don't see a reason not to use them

Although I personally have never owned one, I have been wanting one since they first came out. I never did purchase one, but have since built many of my own. I believe the main issue with previous incarnations was a de-sync issues, which when encounter, meant a death spiral into the ground. I don't know if the issue with de-syncs were caused by the F/C or ESC's, but many people have reported them.

I almost bought the original gt2 200, but had read of quite a few folks having problems outlined in the Diatone GT2 Coming Soon forum found on this site. (FC, desync, etc) I went with a shuriken x-1 and loved it, ended up buying another x-1 and modifying it some. Sounds like the gt 2 200 is getting a good following now and I imagine they have overcome some of the initial teething problems of the origional, so I just went ahead and ordered a new 2017 gt2 200 stretched. Just was curious if someone had first hand experience with the original as I didn't . Hopefully I didn't shy anyone away, or put a bad light on this quad as they are electronic mechanical devices and some will be bound to have issues and glitches (which can almost always be overcome), but everyone loves when they invest money in a product for it to perform.
