Max weight lifted by Syma X5C quadcopter

I need to know how much weight can a Syma X5C quadcopter lift ??.

This model has 4 coreless motors (not ESC type brushless ones), these motors are tiny, with a gearing assembly. The quad also has a detachable camera unit.

After removing the camera, the side guards etc. How much can the quad lift ?? does anyone have idea ??

Remember: heavy lifting by a quad with brushed motors will put more stress on them, and they'll burn up (much) quicker.

I stuck a 110g mobius camera on an x5c and it lifted but it was a struggle.

Removing the camera & prop guards is a good idea, that should give you back 15 g & a couple of minutes of extra flight time

I find anything over 30-40 g in addition to the stock weight makes the X5C sluggish, and if you're using the stock batteries reduces the flight time to < 5 minutes.

What are you thinking of lifting?
