twu01-

Good to see you back. Got my Stella kit a couple weeks ago - All I've got to do is start it!

I went up to the "not so" LHS ( New Creations )to buy covering but came back with an H9 Miss America Man, it's terrible when you start hearing voices coming out of those boxes!

James 28,

Nice pix. Now that's my kind of effort- "upfront and in-your-face 3D"....Gotta get mine finished, geeez. My mum probably would have run away for cover....

James - most of the Stella pics have been at altitude. You are the brave one with the new plane, as well as your Mom. She hung in there on a few close fly-bys. Are you flying without the cowl?

Get some shots doing spins, loops and tail touches around that big water sphere in the background.

One Question for all you STELLAR owner, How strong is the airframe, since it light weight construction. Will it handle some hard landing?

Thanks
PS Great PIC

Fantastic pics, James! Pass along a "well done" to your photographer. Does anyone have any new Stella video to whet my appetite? I've got a long list of projects in the "to do" and the Stella keeps getting bumped up a slot or two.

i have got the CG right back, it now locks into hovers and torque rolls like a champ.

Yep, the cowl is a snug fit. Is it possible that when you trimmed it, you cut it too small?

Where are you running the cg?

Great pics by the way!!!

The airframe is plenty strong - after 67 flights with constant stress from high-G maneuvers (blenders, waterfalls, and KE-spins), mine shows no sign of trouble or weakness. As for hard landings - depends on your definition, but as long as it's not a nose-first arrival, you should be ok.

Huh? Can you give me the CG as a measurement or in relation to the aileron servo holes in the wing? Thanks James...

Scott- I have been learning Aussie speak from James for a while now. Allow me to translate. The CG is just aft of the rib that looks like a crock but just in front of the former that is shaped like an eagle.. Now is it clear?

Just kidding Mate

How Stella got her colors back...

Slowly getting this bird done. Now to keep cutting those stars out of Solite.

It's been so windy here that I haven't been doing any outside flying so I'm in no real rush...

twu01 That is out of control. Is the right wing tip done with stars as well?

Hey, that's not fair. You switched pics on me. Never mind. But it's still out of control.
