Think the last group might be from a Nanaimo show. That's Alf Fletcher in one of the photos. Some of my boats in the background of another.

After lunch the donor model went to the Ship Breakers, the radio, electronics and 12V Robbe gear motor are already sold, they paid for the purchase of the model.

All that is wanted is the hull so the rest gets repurposed or recycled..........

Another one ~

Bob ( xx29l9 ) took these pictures some time back while he was at a local museum, a Very nice old boat, Darle ~

One placard shows this boat worked continuously from 1945 to 1997 when she was donated to future generations to enjoy ...

Thanks for sharing Bob !

Yes it was. It is one of Tom Stevens boats ( owner of Jeanette). Tom changed a few things and made it the way he wanted to without drawings.

Just to add alittle more information. there are different styles even with in the styles of these boats. In the double enders there are the: nw inland designs, Columbia River boats, Canadian style, and the Japanese style. then there are of course the medium built in with most being wood ( double enders). squared of ends can be either wood or metal ( more modern). Both trollers and gillnetters are found in all the above set ups with a few even being combination boats ( fish both trolling and gillnetting). So many choices is the reason I have not done one of these yet----and I do stress yet! soon, very soon.........
