This looks like a decent upgrade, though the included camera mount will probably be somewhat useless with the Runcam 3 being discontinued. Also, I'm not sure how durable the included Pagoda antenna is, nor if the stock camera is any good. I would have preferred to see a generic HS1177 but this may be one of the better CMOS cameras developed recently. Hopefully a PNP/BNF version is coming soon as well.

Looks definitely better, but is that the same camera that people have complained about?

E. seems like it changed but not to ccd
E2. It is actually CCD camera!

The 5051 props, 2A rX, switchable vTx, CP antenna, BF OSD, 30A ESCS and the colored esc cable covers & standoffs are all VERY welcome upgrades. The rear LED's may be in the way however.

IMO the switchable vTx should have gone up to 600mw not 400mw, the camera should have been a CCD and the rX should have been a ia6C instead of A8S. But still, looks like BG/Eachine are learning.

Finally released! I had seen the prototypes a while back, Glad to see they did go with the OSD flight controller. Its nice as it has a Stacked 4in1 esc, Flight controller, and then VTX on top with a pigtail running to the back, should cut down on VTX replacements unless they hard soldered the pigtail still to the VTX as the prototype had shown.

However, I'm a bit upset my biggest request/complaint went ignored.
I begged Eachine to not use the A8s for the last two months and use the X6B, they insisted since it was a better seller to use over the X6B. I'm personally worried unless Flysky fixes the bugs In the A8s that there will be so many flyaways etc. Simply put, the A8s RX is not good news. If Flysky doesn't Correct this RX soon we may have to offer them custom With Frsky Radios installed instead, or at lease switch Rx's.

I'm sure they will release a BNF with other protocol options like they later did with the original Wizard.

I can't wait for the ARF or BNF version to come out to replace the last wizard that I lost.

They just added ARF version:

Eachine Wizard X220S ARF

Priced at $175.99 which is still actually quite good! They added also more information about camera which is CCD!!!!

(summary about camera information

Eachine 1179 800TVL CCD camera

Color: purple
Sensor: CCD
Resolution(horizontal center): 800TVL
Shell size: 25mm*25mm
Weight: 11g
Resolution: PAL: 1980H1080 (2MP) NTSC: 1980H1080V (2MP)
Format: PAL/NTSC switchable
Lens: standard 2.8mm lens
Working voltage: DC12V (Wide Voltage, measured that can be work in 5-13V)

------------
All in all, this new xs220 has

+Better camera
+Bigger motors
+F4 FC with osd and current sensor
+30A ESC which support Dshot600
+25/200/600mw 72CH switchable VTX

I can't find any downsides about this like what were with the x220. This is definitely going to be the next best budget quad! Eachine actually listened and made this MUCH better!

That is great news! Both on the Camera and the 600mw option.

Would it be pushing it for them to use this lens instead though:
https://www.banggood.com/170-Degrees...-p-935378.html

The lens, and some soft mounted FC/motors are about the only things I'd change now. Which is like < $20 in upgrades. Easily the best budget quad out there now.

That would be better but IMO it's acceptable that they use 2.8mm lens which is still fine. That would just raise the prise and for most of the people 2.8mm lens is suitable

Very seriously considering getting one of these but not sure what would be the best rx to get for the ARF version? I can use Frysky/Flysky/DSM2/X cause my tx is a Devo12s with 4n1 module ..
I want to be able to get the battery voltage telemetry sent to my tx so it can alert me as well as the osd...
Any advice on which rx i should consider getting?
Thanks all..

If you want telemetry, then FrSky is no-brainer. From the Frsky mini sized receivers only X4R and XSR have telemetry. X4R (link) is bit better and is in stock at banggood

Isn't that a bit redundant? I find OSDs to be far more useful for voltage monitoring as I can actually observe the rate of voltage change and use the info to decide when to land. If you need telemetry, I would suggest getting a FrSky module for your Tx along with a FrSky Rx that supports telemetry and has a reasonable form factor. The FrSky X4R-SB should do.

Yes true but I do a lot of flying LOS so telemetry on my tx would cover voltage when not using goggles..As far as a tx module i have the 4n1 module in my Devo12s so also have that covered..Thinking of going with the XSR receiver to save a little weight and space...It has S.port just not sure where to hook it up to cause i am very new to using Frsky receivers sorry to say.. Hopefully there will be some online info when the x220s is finally released..
