My Runcam 3 HD is fast enough for my Freesyle Acro stuff. I heared about 40ms, and the Split should be same.
I am in a hurry! Always, expecially when there are new toys. Not so much at work, or cutting the grass in the garden.

what is the "WiFi Module" announced in this camera?

I could fit another board in my stack, BUT in the Split pdf manual, it shows to get the SD card in/out, you need to slide and flip up the card slot cover. So you need to have enough room to flip it open. Even if I had that extra height, I think I'd need to take the top plate off to get in there to do it. I suppose it'll hold a whole days worth of recording so maybe not that big of a deal . But if you want to take a look at a cool flight (or more likely an epic crash) really quick, that's a pita.

I think this is best applied to a racing quad where you wouldn't want to drag around another HD cam. But for freestyle maybe the separate HD cam is more convenient and to use on multiple quads. And yes, I was all for this concept previously. Thinking through the actual use now (or at least MY use case), it's a maybe.

It does seem to have usb plug and the wifi. So could hopefully transfer files off with it hooked up to your computer or over the wifi board in the app.

I had the same worries on some small builds but if those two points are true, it should at least be manageable.

Hmm FPV video out is only 4:3.... Just orderd a new set of FPV goggles (Aomway) with 16:9.
