I just built one. As soon as the wind stops blowing, I'll fly it and report back. It's a neat little kit. I covered mine with tissue paper and dope.

I'm also building this kit at the moment with UMX AS3X bricks. The instruction manual did not say where the CG is. Does any one know? Thanks.

I just ordered one of these from banggood and it says two servos are required but it seems to me that it would require 3 for the aileron, rudder and elevator. Also, did either of you ever fly and how do you like it? This is my first rc plane and hopefully it will be a good one to learn on.

I finished my Spacewalker with UMX AS3X bricks, 180 3000kv 2cell brushless set up. It flies like a charm. Great power even in the light breeze. Inverted, loops, rolls, it handles pretty well. Wing loading is low on this thing. Its a floaty flyer. Iím pretty happy with the build.

BTW, the CG is on the front set of the wing spars.

Can you talk about what finish you put on this plane, and what power and radio setup you used? Banggood links would be massively appreciated.

Power setup is really the gutted kit from a 2S UMX micro. I bought them from the Micro/Indoor classified. Those 2S UMX AS3X kits pop up in that classified all the time at good price. No need to buy them new. But links are here. Essentially, UMX AS3X Pitts, Revolution, Waco power kit can all work. Spectrum radios can work.

Covering is Solite/Monocote iron on film.

Thanks so much for the info! Unfortunately I live in Taiwan, so Banggood is probably my best bet, but this gives me search terms I can use

Hi guys:

I finally got mine done.
I was waiting for electronics and lucked into a busted Indoor Parkzone Corsair at auction for $3, since it came with a nickel for nose weight my investment dropped to $2.95.

I sprayed a super light coat of red on the wing and yellow on the fuze.
It weighs 45g so 10g over. I'm not sure why it's so much over but the 220mAh battery and double wing servos don't help.

Today began with almost no wind so I went flying and got GoPro video. This plane flies amazingly well!
It was -2C and tiny batteries don't like that but I got 3 minutes with probably 1 more minute left in the battery.

The build is very fiddly, I had to wet most of the curved balsa. The balsa is Laser cut perfectly but the plywood has to be adjusted to fit almost everywhere.

I recommend this kit to experienced builders only.

3-1/2 minute Video here.
