GWS EDF55 with a Himax 2025-3600 Brushless motor

I just picked up a couple of the cobri shims from e-flightline that allow a 20mm motors to be adapted to the Speed 300 diameter. The question I have is, how do you handle the protruding bushing on the front of the Himax 2025 motor?

I mean that bushing/bearing doesn't allow the motor to mate up flush with the EDF55 housing.

Anyone put together a combo like this before and how did you handle the hub to housing interference?

Use the himax adapter plate for 24mm mounts. It might need filed a tad bit smaller in diameter to fit properly.
