I like to design something, already designed Extra Large Multi Function X8 Copter.
Estimated empty weight (without payload and batt) around 9-10kg, max total weight 25kg,
Motor XM9010HD-6, props 24" and 22".
But still in my dream, i have no money to build that monster right now.

Here is my design:
Thanks a lot, in Denmark we are only allowed to lieft 7kg (in the law) else we need to start flying from a airplan place where its allowed, but what i think its just to build a huge one for fun and becures its posibule

Thanks for your design, how big are you probs here? and have you a more detail design of it?

1100mm diagonal motor to motor, 20x20mm rectangular carbon tubes, 3mm carbon plate.
4x10000mAh 6S batt or 6x10000mah 6S batt depend on load.

same 7kg for overall weight.
Heavier then that need the commercials permit to fly.

In parallel or series?

My plan for 6S setup (parallel), no need for High Voltage esc's, big and expensive..

Hi everyone, seeing you all talking about heavy lifting high efficiency Hexcopters made me want to jump on in for a few questions. I use the E-Calc to work out my motor esc battery set up usually but with the build I did on a T960 or 960mm Tarot hex frame I ran into problems. I have a weight of close to 8.2KG without batteries but with current motor and props attached and also includes the H3 Gremsy Gimbal and a6000 Sony camera. So that is the payload I am trying to lift for filming advertising. Motors I tried were 320KV Sunnysky which had good performance but got too hot and only had Flight time of around 4-5mins. I am looking to find a new motor prop config to run 6s and a prop limit of 18" so I will need the 18x6.2 CF props and I am looking at probably either the TMOTOR U7 280KV or P60 340KV motors but I am afraid to spend up to $2000 on motors just to find I get a measly 6-8mins. I am hoping to get at least 11-14mins on a AUW of 11-12.5KG Is this feasible with the frame restrictions of a max 18" prop? Thanks so much your help is invaluable.

I think you can do that with P60-340 + 22" props, no with 18" props
