What have you got?

Would not happen to be red with stars on the deck?

Any clue what hull it is. This boat completes my fleet. I have 2 IOM, 2 US1m, 1 marblehead. and now a J class.

Can't see the whole hull, but if it truly is a double-ender it's a Whirlwind.

It is very close to a true double ender. I wont have it in my hands until tuesday. I knew enough to know it was J class when i bought it. But I have never seen a J class in person. I live in kansas city and there is little to no rc sail groups around here. The folks who do have boats are mostly hobby store grade stuff and is not up to sailing with my IOM and US1m. Thanks for the help so far. This will not be my first restoration but the biggest by far

On closer look, I don't think it's a J. Stem is wrong.

This is very weird indeed. There are some A Class boats of that size, but all of them have the rudder separated from the keel... 10R Class boats are never that long... I'm also lost here...

Any markings inside the hull? Is the deck glass or wood? If glass, may lean toward a production builder.

Possibly a Reynolds.
