2 New AC/DC Chargers From Thunderpower

Thunder Power has added a new line up of chargers that replaces their previous products. There are 2 new chargers to choose.

ThunderPower releases a new charger line up for charging single or multiple batteries.

Thunder Power has added a new line up of chargers that replace their previous chargers. At this time they have 2 new ones to choose from. The TP610HVC is the smaller of the two, and offers a simple and safe form of charging for the beginner. The TP610HVC is a single port 10A capable AC/DC charger that packs a punch for a small economical charging device at only 130mm x 115mm x 61mm in measurement.

The bigger of the 2 chargers is the TP4X610HV, and this is pretty much the 610 X 4 in one package. It comes in at 220mm x 240mm x 68mm in size and that is not too bad considering you can do 4 times the charging. Both chargers are compatible of charging up to 6 cell Li-Po, Li-Fe, Li-HV batteries, but the TP4X610HV is also capable of charging Li-Ion. Both chargers also handle other cell types like Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, and Pb batteries.

I'm still using my TP610C. The thing is just super reliable. Nice to see them updating it with new models.

Manual says it does IR but it doesn't. Menu does not match Manual and IR is not there. Emailed this to TP and got no answer.
Decent add to my charger but seems lacking compared to other chargers.
Discharge rate is max at .3 amps. Awfully slow process at that rate.

Based on current prices, you would be better off buying four TP610HVC's and paying an extra $10 for the group. Then you get the USB port, the ability to update firmware, and IR.
