Did find a picture of the transmitter on eBay; it does seem to have a switch for the gyro, which is good.

I'm also leaning more towards the Volantex

*edit: darn, already 'under restocking' over at BG :-\

The transmitter in the posting above must be the older version! The switch on top is for Servo dual rate!
At the pics below is the transmitter from the Volantex V761-1. The smaller plane from Volantex from which I have linked the vid in my post before.
Dont know if it is the same but why not? It has 3 modes, Expert, Midd and Beginner.

Yeah, you're probably right; quite likely they kept the same transmitter.

In the vid he explains a little bit the three gyro modes! Or was it in an other vid? Dont know, there are a lot of vids about the smaler Volantex plane and the gyro on YT.

I picked a big sheet of paper from a news paper. I layed it in front of me and made 3 marks.
One at zero, one at 580mm and one at 750mm.
I put my left hand on zero and was sliding with my right hand between 580 and 750 back and forth a few times.
That was it what helped me to decide!

I measured my XK A700 wings again and it has actually a wingspan of 750mm (so it should have been 'A750' ) but it has rather slender (glider) wings; I can fly the Mate808 camera easily with it, and even the heavier Mobius Mini without much problems. You have to be careful though with the brushed motor which gets pretty hot during a 10 mins flight (that's about what I get out of the 300mAh/7.4V batteries); that's why I want something similar/slightly larger with a more powerful brushless motor.

In the F959 thread I have read some postings about the limited life span of the electronics.
I am happy now. At least, considering all pros and cons, it was an easy decision.
But, I know, it is a kind of an adventure too!

There are some slightly bigger FPV planes at BG at the moment. But they are kits or PNP and also a little bit more expensive.

I am sure with a smaller prop and or a smaller motor flight time with the Volantex could be 20min or more. Thrust and speed in such a case would also be lower. More like scale flying.
Description says 7x4. With 7x3 or 6x3 flight time will increase.

According to Volantex the RTF brushless gyro version has single gyro and single receiver. That means probably every Tx/Rx can be used with the V765-2!

Found one on Amazon.de ('Goolsky') for 69,99, but that's a PNP version.

Latest review I have found! Enjoy!

Volantex 765-2 Super Cub RTF review - Supplied by Banggood.com (13 min 29 sec)

EDIT: (Unfortunately this one has no gyro! BG must sent him the wrong plane!)

Hopefully I will get the one with gyro!
