I'm using NFEs fork but I assume this is the same on this code.

lasttrim[] is initialised to 0x00 and my h67 jelly bean tx transmits 0x1F on initial bind so it sets that channel to the On state on startup.

I initialised it to

I don't know if all transmitters start at 0x1F or not.

excuse my considerable ignorance, but the mods by joelucid for yaw, and nfe's stuff... where do they live on github ?

i looked at the linked stuff, and presume i can be a script jockey and simply cut'n'pasta stuff (he says without any real knowledge) because really, what's the worst that can happen ?

...looks at healing arm lacerations from the 720 build and reconsiders...

is the code for h8 essentially interchangeable with b03 in terms of snippets ?


failing that, please just link me to what i might use for b03 for either option, and i can fudge the other settings from what i already use

A, indoors 1s is plenty fast enough.
B. Outside the whoop frame gets blown around in the wind a LOT unless its close to dead calm.( which it rarely is in Yorkshire ).

But on those calm days it would be a hoot and maybe the extra power would make it more stable in the wind?
Nigel, can you do me a favour please? Could measure the distance between the front fastener plastic pin and the back one please? I'm estimating it's around 33mm

Looks like 35mm , it is the same as the width on the b03 quad for camera mount, standard whoop size fc .. Makes it awkward on b03 fc with the battery plug.

The H8 mini blue, E011 and B03 all use the same processor and radio chip, so the code is of the same family. If you look at the H8 mini blue and click on commits you will see on Jan 23 the H8 mini blue firmware was "changed to boldclash code from now on". Basically you can run either of the 3 firmwares on either of the 3 boards if you check/change the values in hardware.h to suit. If you use NFE (linked above) or YETS variant firmwares, the board type is actually a define that you set (i.e. uncomment your board type and that's it). The NFE variant is targeted at brushed quads and the YETS variant for brushless.

Sorry for the stupid & noob question... How can I download the firmware file?
Original bin comes down easily, but hex file just opens in browser and download does not start. 🙄

hi guys, I'm new to Silverware, flashed today H67 with https://github.com/NotFastEnuf/E011-...H8-Silverware/ and I can't fly it, because I cant find my rates! and seems PID's are not good (mb too much P?), I can hear oscilliations when I'm only hovering.

can somebody help me to find my usual rates and tune?

here is my rates and pids of my BF setup with 716

my whoop weights 24.5g without lipo, 4 bladed eachine props and 716 17000kv motors

For PID's just reduce P and D by say 20% using tx gestures and see how that goes (trial and error).

heads up for a quick build option


the jury is out on how well it flies (more me than the device capabilities, but i thought it worth a heads up for kingkong / ldarc tiny 8x (and other) frames

i got mine via ebay for usd $11.36 delivered from here, although the pice has now drifted up a few dollars

for the money, you get a frame, 4 (yes, four!) canopies, 20 props (nominally 48mm with 1mm shaft), some screws and grommets and tiny bands to hold wires, and a single led light with wires

the best news is that the size of the canopies is interchangeable with the b03 frames, meaning that the same camera set up i describes here for the turbowing camera in the boldclash translucent frame should screw right on

i say should, because in my enthusiasm to mount the b03 board, i clipped the wrong frame mount to make the battery plug fit (one side rather than the rear... stupid ! , and will now have to wait for replacement frames to have the necessary screw holes where they need to be

ah well, 2 more in transit from ebay for usd $9 - a bargain for future mutilation, and faster than waiting for some boss frames to materialise

there's a battery slot under the frame that will take "standard" jjrc 260mah 1s lipos, and also accommodates a nanotech 600mah rated at 35-70c (at a portly 16gm), although there's also a 450mah from kingkong / ldarc that weighs in at 13gm with the right connector for the b03; the nanotech needs a different plug or an adapter

with a camera it's going to be in at about ~57gm with a 600mah battery but those 8250's have a fair bit of hoist - that's 40gm bare weight

onto my pics for more info

edit : played with the 600mah battery and then adjusted the connector to make it easier and more durable - at just under 53gm with the big battery it goes plenty fast for my expertise
