Just Go And Fly - Let's build something rad!!

A fellow slope soarer suggested I make one of these so I figured I'd give it a shot.

This is a go fund me account I've created in order to acquire the necessary tools and materials needed to create the designs that have been floating around my head over the years

This is largely a scientific endeavor and I aim to create airplanes that didn't exist before and have capabilities previously unseen in the world of aviation.

I have managed to build over 200 airplanes since I started designing, many of which brought something new to aviation, like the ability to glide continuously and efficiently on the fuselage as well as designing a flying wing to stall and continuously rotate around the vertical axis (multiple flips!)

Aside from the advances I've made in the air, I continue to improve the durability and appearance of these planes.

With your help, I can speed up the scientific process and create new and even better aircraft that will eventually be widely accessible to the public and provide something better than your standard ToysRUs rc toy.

Some projects in the queue:

-Make another 80-100" EPP VTPR/Ultrabat glider, Buzzilla was a great concept but too floppy, and hard to transport.

-Refine the biplane designs

-Refine the kato flying wing, optimize it for multi flips and discus launching, better resolution at high rates using different linkages that don't yet exist

-Provide current designs at a lower cost by utilizing tools I don't have

-Some of the best times I've had flying have been off the slope, with an Alula, I'd like to design a DLG optimized for aerobatics for flat land throw and catch sessions

-I want to experiment with tailerons and wingeron functions

-refine the minis, 22-36" - they need airfoils specific to their size

-Composites, composites, composites. All you moldie snobs have a point, they fly better.

-make kits available for all designs

-Put together a ready to fly package for the general public that beats the crap they sell out of toys r us and the other crap coming from china.

Now all of this takes a lot of time, materials, and testing - but the end result will be totally kickass. The project goal is set at $2500, but even $5-10 will help out enormously on individual projects like the 100"

Crazy Gliders !! (3 min 24 sec)

Katoflips @ Garfield (1 min 19 sec)

Buzzilla Maiden (4 min 3 sec)

(2 min 41 sec)
