Dynam 1500mm B-26 Marauder PNP

The Martin B-26 Marauder was one of the most successful Allied bombers of World War II. After a challenging introduction, the B-26 eventually became beloved for its exceptional durability and excellent medium bomber capabilities. Nicknamed the “Flying Torpedo”, the B-26 Marauder ended the war with the lowest combat loss rate of any American aircraft, bringing thousands of aviators safely home.

Dynam’s 1500mm wingspan B-26 Marauder brings the familiar scale outline of this iconic aircraft to the skies again! The aircraft is Dynam’s most ambitious warbird to date, introducing redesigned tricycle retracts for improved reliability and all new counter rotating propellers for scale appearance. To maximize convenient assembly and transport, the B-26’s outer wings can be detached from the engine nacelles, or the entire wing can be removed as one single piece. Major assembly of the aircraft is completed with only ten screws! For a large aircraft its size, the Dynam B-26 can be made very portable to fit in a small car’s trunk in under three minutes.

The aircraft is optimized for a 4s 4000mAh battery for extended flight time and a good balance of thrust, wing loading, and flight duration. A large battery hatch provides plenty of space for a receiver or optional gyro. Flaps shorten takeoffs and reduce landing speeds, and the tall rudder has excellent authority. Power is provided by two Tomcat 3512-650KV brushless motors for satisfying sport scale performance. The two Skylord 40A ESCs are mounted behind each motor for ideal cooling and the counter-rotating 10.5x8 propellers enhance the scale fidelity of the aircraft. Providing capable handling on short grass runways, in addition to the redesigned retracts the Dynam B-26 Marauder also features steel wire struts.wide and soft scale sized tires.

Dynam aircraft make excellent cost effective platforms for personalization and detailing, and this B-26 continues that tradition. The upper turret can swivel freely, and the canopy and nose covers are easily removed for detailing inside by ambitious modelers. There is even space in the belly if pilots want to add their own bomb bay door. With Dynam and your imagination, you can operate a truly special model aircraft you can be proud of!

Feature

Superior Design
- Three-piece main wings, detachable horizontal stabilizer and vertical stabilizer allow easy transportation and assembly.
- The tricycle landing gear used worm drive electronic makes for excellent visibility while taxiing.
- Extreme scale details including forward, rear, top and side gun turrets.
- Bright LED navigation lights bring more fun for users.

Strong Power, Reliability Performance
- Twin engine design and two Tomcat 3512 KV 650 motors provides power for 1500mm large wingspan. The performance is reliability and smooth.
- Equip Four-blade counter-rotating propellers. The advantage of such design can balance the effects of torque and P-factor and make the flight more straight and steady.
- Use the battery of 14.8V 4000mAh 25C, flying can up to seven minutes.

6 Channel, More fun to fly
The number of channel could determine how much fun you have with your RC airplane. Dynam B-26 is the 6 channel planes could bring more fun to user during the flight.

It's not an A-26 but it is a bomber so I'll take it.

Anymore information on this would be amazing.

Hopefully. B-26s had inboard and outboard split flaps. They also had enormous ailerons that took up most of the span outboard of the nacelles.

They were split flaps AND inboard/outboard from the nacelles.

Split flaps.

Looks like from B-26B-10 to B-26B-55 blocks they also had slotted flaps way outboard between the split flaps and the ailerons. Which is what I think we're seeing on the model.

Cool and different. Hope it doesn't live up to its reputation as a widowmaker. It was nicknamed the Baltimore Whore, "no visible means of support". An OD/gray one would be nice too.

So if that's a 10.5" prop, I'm guessing the wingspan is going to be around 65"? Maybe closer to 70?

My B-25's got a 72" wing and uses 12" props and they look to be about the same size relatively.

I hope the mains retract forward even though the struts were strange when retracting . The nose gear rotated flat when retracting

The BF-110 has 10" props, so I bet the wingspan is in the same range as it.

No split flaps.

B-26 is my favourite twin=engine bomber, bar none. I clearly remember building Monogram's kit and being completely enthralled by it.

They must have done a lot of revisions on that wing between blocks. Pre-block 10s definitely had split flaps as pictured above. Block 10s had both. I know they did a lot of tweaking over time to try to get it to fly well at low speeds.

What model of B-26 is Flak Bait? Is she a B-26b or a later model?

Edit: Yeah, she's a B-26B Block 25. That explains it. Apparently they did go to an all-slotted flap arrangement.
