Odd idea to change RC to 2.4ghz
Hi,
I'm new here and know a bit about RC and electrics , but not enough to do what I want.... So I'm currently repairing a Kids Ride on Car And the RC control is no longer functioning, So I have decided to take it into my own hands and convert the system to 2.4ghz to run on the receivers I have in my cupboard, The motors are 12v and the RC system is skmple(but broken) The current RC Reciver is 12v and for the fwd/bkwd it's just 2 pins that the polarity changes and goes into a relay system to control the motors, So my idea is to convert one of my servos into a switch, and put that in place of the existing RC receiver.... if that makes sense... so that part is easy... The steering on the other hand the receiver works in the same ways but there is not relay system the motor is connected directly to the receiver and when the receiver reverses polarity so does the motor, What I would like to do is use the same method of hacking a RC servo into a switch but have that go into a Relay to then switch on and reverse polarity of the 12v motor..... Now in my head I can explain this well.... on paper it's confusing .... Any ideas on the wiring of the relay? |
