I do believe we have the biggest flying site in Ca. 600x60' paved runway permanent shade structure, on site bathrooms, just no power

We have hosted HeliFreak for 6 years, and Flyn Ash Fast Warbird series racing for 6 years as well. And our field sits on 20+ acres in the middle of nowhere

New flying site in Georgia!

When complete, the 87 acre field will boast:

1500 ft grass runway with 1000 approach at both ends
A 6000 sq ft air-conditioned club house with kitchen facility
Bath house with stalls and showers for both men and women
20 RV hookups with water and 30/50 amp service
900 ft x 80 ft water runway for float planes with its own flight stations
6 acre lake for RC boats
7 acre dedicated Helicopter Flight Line with covered pilot area!
Primitive Campsites
7 acre dedicated FPV area
6 TVs in the club house with receivers to watch the FPV racing
An aircraft hangar for club members to rent storage and workspace

Phase I consists of the Main Flight Line and the Helicopter Flight Line and will be completed by this December. The airplane people may have to wait till next March or April for full grass growth.

They are looking for NON-CASH donations in the form of memorabilia. We have a non-profit tax ID number available to all donors.

DC-RC Walt Good Field, Germantown, MD Aerial Film

DC-RC Walt Good Field,Germantown, MD Aerial Film (1 min 58 sec)

As a DC-RC member since 2012, I have enjoyed (and sometimes, not so much!) flying at this premier flying site. With a long, paved runway, covered pavilion, and two, solar-powered, charging stations, Walt Good field is a wonderful place to fly airplanes and helicopters.

Simsbury Remote Control Club in Simsbury,CT. A little gem of a club nestled at the base of Talcott Mountain. Our field shares some space with the occasional hang glider coming in to land from the mountain, and we're right next store to a state police gun range, so we're very safe. We allow everything safe to fly, but the field is somewhat limited by size so we are mostly electric.

We recently put up a new sign to attract the public and spectators to stop on by and visit. We also participate in an annual Flight Day at a local school teaching kids about RC aircraft and learning how to fly.

Last year the AMA was kind enough to help us out with a grant when we sustained damage to our field. Thanks!
