Only recently I was thinking: how cool would that BUGS3 be when they would add GPS?

Maybe they can give Hubsan a good run for their money

Although it's missing a vtx and a monitor for that, so how will you be able to operate it at 1-2km away ? ..... my eyesight isn't that good.

Until more I will guess, it may use conventional WiFi and a booster like the new Hubsan X4. I only hope that the quality would be better than the Hubsan which i consider to be not RTF but RFAFL (repair first and fly later)

Not so sure; looking at the belly picture of the BUGS2, there is a micro SD slot there. So it may only record directly to a card.

Wouldn't they have included a picture of a mobile device holder of some sort if the quad was equiped with wifi for fpv? Although they call it a 'FPV Racing Quadcopter'.

Guess we'll see

So it does have fpv using a mobile. If that's wifi, I have to say the connection looked pretty good judging from this lo-res video. Will be interesting to see what the camera footage itself really looks like

Lurking...posting...
The live video feed is surprisingly impressive for wifi based fpv. Good range and very little freezing/delay it seems. Maybe there's a built in repeater/relay in the video transmitter to get that range and smoothness.

What would that red 'lock' button on the controller do? Lock and unlock the motors?

thats what i would guess, its that way on B3, i'm wondering about this "built in" battery, may not be able to jack with it at all, so you get to fly for 12-14 minutes and then have to wait two hours to charge so you can fly again ? I just figured it would slide in and out like B3 and you could swap out batteries and keep flying, guess we will have to see about this...Roost

Doubt it's really 'build in'; you see this mentioned with more quads. Shipping of lipos might otherwise be problematic.

always so much confusion with this stuff, Bayang x16 lol, before you click the video the pic shows black quad white remote, but i think it only comes white, then in description up top has black remote but dude in vid is using a white one. I learned with the x16 you just dont know till you get it, hopefully, well its been my experience MJX is pretty good, surely it has AH too...Roost

It does make sense for micro quads (10-15 mins charging) but not for bigger ones like this one

More details and pre-sale offer is now available, the price is absolute fabulous (in a good way) and it's just 143.99$, it's an amazing deal for what it offers, the target is directly the new Hubsan X4 Air which is give or take is around ~200-220$ without a transmitter.
