This was the SE5 flying today, I had a few more flights with her (not recorded) and then the last flight was almost a disaster ... no damage done ... last segment on the video

Don't know why my videos are going black when I clip or add a bit of another video, so I have added another video with the SE5 near crash

Lockey

3rd flight of the SE5 and almost a 4th flight (5 min 2 sec)

Mini Magic and SE5 almost disaster (3 min 2 sec)

Looks like a lovely day for it.

Bit of a shame about the last one but at least nothings broken! Will you be installing an extension on the front?

Not that easy to do now Adam, maybe I will just have to make sure that I use a slightly bigger battery ... the 1300 BOLT battery seemed to be heavier and help with the balance

I gave my little pilot a head rest, his neck was beginning to ache

It's a little cutie pie that is i like the head rest and the pilot.

The staggerwing could probably carry an SE5 under each wing!

I bonged the nose of my little SE5 ... doing inverted too low AGAIN ...

I so I fixed it and extended to length of the nose by 20mm, a bit more room for the batteries now and can use the 1000/3s as I can get it further forward to balance the CG .. and of course the pod is further forward too ... not a perfect repair but good to go again

Marking the position of the blind nuts presented a bit of a dilemma, so I made a simple paper pattern of the bottom of the pod with the holes (blind nuts) and cut-out for the battery connector and then transferred it to the ply base .. worked very well

As I see it ... this is the only trouble with the "Swap Pod" idea on smaller models ... finding room for all the bits and battery

It looks like you have a really fun plane there. How is the T 28 coming along?

Wonder how the stagger wing will stack up against the little SE-5 ?

Wonder if I should give it dihedral and elevator / rudder only like the SE5 .. or add ailerons and keep the wings straight ?

I think I'd go with the ailerons and straight wings, but your the master. I'm sure how ever you do it, It will fly great.

Stagger Wing Bipe (Swap-Pod) is almost finished

For some reason, this one uses just a bit over a sheet
