With a top speed over 65 MPH, the Savage XS FLUX is one of the fastest mini-sized monster trucks being produced. It's built around 1/10th scale 2.2" tires and wheels, and comes with a brutally powerful MMH-4000KV 4-Pole brushless motor and Flux EMH-3S waterproof brushless ESC. And while the Savage XS FLUX is not a new design, the bright green body and wheels on this Vaughn Gittin Jr. Signature Edition are!
Here's what HPI has to say: The Savage XS FLUX gets an amazing new look with the awesome Vaughn Gittin Jr. Signature Edition! Taking the cool geometric design from Vaughn’s drift competition livery, the Savage XS FLUX adds massive jumps, backflips and more to Vaughn’s repertoire of high-angle drift attacks and awesome sideways action! Behind the fantastic new look, which includes bright green springs and wheels with HB Power Pin tires, the Savage XS retains the composite TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) chassis, 3S LiPo compatibility, waterproof electronics and super-durable drivetrain and suspension that have made the Savage XS FLUX the toughest – and fastest! – mini-monster truck in the world!

Awesome little monsters. Tough as nails. I had the original XS Flux for a few years. Never broke a single part on it. It's silly fast on 2S and 3S is just freaking insane.
Be sure to check the loc-tite on all of the differential drive cup grub screws. Also, the steering tie rods will pop loose if you hit something because something up there has to give. One might consider upgrading those to stronger RPM linkage or a bolt-on style tie-rod if you never want them to pop loose again. Other than that, this is one solid little truck that's as fast as I would ever want right out of the box. |

It uses 1:10 scale electronics and drivetrain and has room for a 3S 5000 LiPo in the battery box. It also handles skate parks with ease.
