External encoder error? What happend?
Have got an eagletree vector with gps in a bixler used for fpv.
Today at the field it all of a sudden went out of control and aimed for the ground :/
Luckily no damages as i were flying low...
The last thing before it acted up was a a text on the osd saying something like "external encoder error". What is this meaning?
When i picked up the plane i noticed that the elevator servo was broken.
This can explain the crash IF it happend in the air. But its hard to know if the servo gave up before or after the crash...
But if it died midair, can it produce such a text?
Other exponations i have been thinking about is powerlines...
I went for a new route today, and went pretty close to some powerlines at my field. Can these cause interference?
I must solve this and have a cause for the crash, so i can trust this plane again.
