RCProPlus- Anti-Spark & NTS Series Products

RCProPlus has now added an option to decrease and almost eliminate the powerful spark you get during the powering up process...

Splash

RCProPlus has released an Anti-Spark adaption to their popular high current connectors.

RCProPlus has been making themselves known for the past few years. Some of the top pilots in the world use their high current RC plugs. The RCProPlus connectors now have a much needed addition for dealing with very high voltage and amperage and the common spark pop you get when plugging up your battery.

RCProPlus has now added an option to decrease and almost eliminate that powerful spark you get during the powering up process. The Anit-Spark unit has no progressive impedance after you connect. It looks like these are still in the prototyping stage, and will soon be released in the near future.

For more information on the new Anti-Spark connectors click here when it's released.

I prefer how AMASS did it:

What I don't like is how they only sell them in a paired set which makes you pay for anti spark bullets you don't need when doing batteries. However Hyperion resells them in sets of three of each type so you can just buy what you need (about $4 per three except for the anti spark bullets which are $12 per three)

Bullet connectors are a bad idea on battery connections. Too easy to short out.

Didnt someone recently do that with a 6s pack?

Agreed. I use XT90 for that reason. They can take the amps of a 700 without any problems. Easy to connect and impossible to do wrong.
There are other systems (EC) too. Sure bullets work but it is an unneccesary risk to me.

If you ask me it is bound to happen to anyone sooner or later with bullet connectors.
Even if yit works allright hundrets of times that one moment when you're talking to a club mate with your eyes on his hiney new heli or something like that you might connect them wrong.

I would've connected my XT90's wrong allready if they would've let me.

Sorry, mostly elderly men with a couple of my age (37 here) in between.

I burst that bubble there here and now didn't I?

The most pornographic thing happening there is someone spooling up a TDR.

+1, I agree, the sound of a heli spooling up is extremely exciting.

my 250 has jst connectors on it at the moment, horrible. ive pulled a pin out of a battery already serveral times.

I like the pop sound the spark makes when you attach the lipo connector to the esc connector . It is one aspect of heli excitement, others are blade fart noise, e.t.c.

Yes, the noise was exciting and so were the fireworks as I was frantically trying to catch that fiery ferret out of the metal pan while it was tumbling around, shorting against all walls with sparks flying everywhere with noise like a welder.
