1/4 Scale Cosmic Wind

This is actually an update on a discontinued kit. To my knowledge CB Associates produced it first, then Great Planes and at some time Joe Bridi produced the kit. All of this work was completed over a year ago, and I just realized this picture was taken after I molded the cowling. That is why there are some blemishes on the nose.

Cool project! I have a long affection for the type.

Got photos of my older brother sitting on the tire of " Ballerina", at an air race , San Jose , CA early 50's (got to get prints made from negs.)

"My" full size Gee BeeR-1 "model" sits very near the mid-wing Cosmic Wind displayed at Planes of Fame. Also, there are some awesome color shots of Ballerina, currently residing in England, appearing here on RC groups scale drawing forum. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...er-Cosmic-Wind

I also appreciate the amount of effort that goes into FG mold work. Looking Good.

I use Jeffco from Aircraft Spruce. It's around 85$ for a one gallon kit and is compatible with the West Systems pumps.
