Maiden today ... I was very nervous (more than normal) I didn't have a clue how the twist ailerons would work, or how the extra large elevator would be ?? Also I was flying on the small park and if anything went wrong, I could easily be into the trees again

One thing in my favour was the very low wind

Couldn't have been easier ... maiden went off without a hitch, few clicks of down and a couple of clicks left aileron and she was flying sweet ... I only had a short flight and now I cant wait to get her on a bigger park so I can see how she flies at slow speed and put her through her paces ..

I will be adding a little more aileron (if I can) and maybe feed in a bit more rudder (I have rudder / aileron mix added)

Short but sweet, lovely looking plane!

I'll happily part with a few shekels for the thin one Then part with some more for the more curvaceous one later

Nice maiden.

One question, I am just finishing my profile version, how much throw do you have in the controls?

I have hinged ailerons. 38" span.

If you check out the end of the maiden video, you can see the amount of travel on all the control surfaces ... I felt I had enough elevator but needed a bit more aileron and I have aileron and rudder mix

Thanks for the quick come back.

I have about the same aileron, maybe a bit more elevator and ran out of guide tube, so the rudder
is not hooked up yet.

Mine is based on a 1914 version of the Knights Command, the first aircraft equipped with
a flame thrower.

Very nice effort again, As usual ! :>}

All Toube's seem to suffer from that narrow tracking problem.
Just gotta be ON the rudder stick.

Another nise show worthy AC.

Congrats

Bob
