Can't wait to see if fly! I got a complete shock today, my wife said that she wanted to learn to fly! So I went out and bought her an Apprentice S RTF! Don't need her to have to put up with the stuff/crap that I build! I want it to be a positive experience. It will be great to have somebody to fly with

Lockey, I can't spot the mistake! Is it that you left the top off the foam-tac and now it's gone all gloopy? Love the wing warp. |

Excellent work as always.
Certainly interested in this one ! I might even want to scale this down and use some of the new 3mm from MPF like exclusively throughout. The last time I saw a Taube was 1970 in Thailand with a Galloping Ghost radio. and ... you guessed it ! that was the LAST time anybody saw it in one piece ! :>{ |

Great galloping ghosts ( called “buttbangers" here ) ...at least we didn’t have to wind the rubber bands of the escapement anymore eh Birdo ... Gosh, that’s when flyaway’s were fairly common , and we wrote our names and address on the plane, and offered a reward ... got most of them back too ... a few just Gone (forever) !!! ... We’ve come so far !!!
We’d built and flown the Profile “sport” version of the Taube, 54” WS ... a very graceful flier indeed , takes off in a foot , beautiful “birdlike” in the air ... Taubes are really Special as I’m absolutely sure Lockey’s going to be ... |
