Wattage f-22 Raptor

I am looking for some pictures with some different paint jobs on the raptor. I would also like some input on what a speed 400 6V with a 5x5 carbon prop would peform like? Any other motor sugestions would be great as well.

Try a search in the other forums for "Wattage F-22". You will find more information on it than in this forum.

MORE POWER!

A buddy of mine has been flying one of these with a speed 400 direct drive. It flies pretty good with that setup. He just upgraded the the motor to an 020 brushless direct drive last week. He had it out at the field Saterday for a test flight. It flew with alot more authority. I am assembleing one now with a Turbo450 and should test fly it next weekend.

I have a 1010/3 in mine with 7 CP1300S--Nice flying plane. I did change things to add strength however. I added a carbon arrow shaft through the fuselage and into the wings and carboned the aft bulkhead and "taileron" supports. Without that the rear end is way too flexable for the added power. Sure looks cool in the air!

I fly mine on the stock setup. Lots of flights and lots of fun. Still going strong. If you want to see the maiden
flight on the stock setup, there's a video on my site. Good luck with it.

That's the link to the Raptor page.
