DHK 8382 Maximus RTR 1/8 4WD Brushless Monster Truck

Anyone have any experience on this one? I like the idea that there are two batteries, one each side. You get 4-6s power with 2-3s batteries and, at least in theory, the car should be better balanced, because the weight of the batteries is divided in both sides of the car.
I haven't seen this in other budget class rc trucks before.

It seems it use lot of parts of the Optimus XL and Zombie, with wheel axle extension and not the same motor position. The wheel axle extension will maybe give more stress on wheel axle.

EDIT : Monkey hobby is a good webshop for DHK spares.

What would be some good upgrade batteries to go for that will fit the maximus? I'm not too interested in changing it from series to parallel. It seems doing that makes the car almost undriveable.
