What is landing :O
That is ridiculously small !
What sort of application could these be for :/
I'm not sure they'll have enough torque to spin anything more than 2 inches :/
Oh well. At least they look cute
Looking forward to the testing data

What do you think, what size of the frame should it be used with? Sub 90mm? 60mm? Smaller ?
Looking at the preliminary thrust table I think they are optimized for 1S.
The weight of this motor (1.9g) is on pair with 6x15mm brushed motor (1.8g)!

What is landing :O
But for brushless you need to have escs as well and those add to the weight.
I think fishpepper's quad can benefit from this.
I hope this actually gets used on 1s quads. I wouldn't use anything less than 1103 myself :P

Yes, pepperfish FC(1.7g) and 4in1 ESC (1.2g) would be perfect fit for these motors. Lets imagine - full power train weight: 4x1.9g+1.7g+1.2g =9.88g

Furious FPV Racewhoop same perfect for this motors and already in stock. But I haven't found useful frames for this motors.

I haven't see either any frame that is suitable for this motor yet. But it is a matter of time, once these motors will pop up - a new frames will appear.

Yep, with equipment like that it should be possible to come in at around 25gram and have 60grams thrust.

I have received the pre-release samples of this BR0703 motor. Boy they are small, I mean small! Look at the comparison picture with the big brother BR2205S:

Four motors fits on one match:

They weight 7.4 grams all so 1 motor weights 1.85g. This is the same weight as 6x15 brushed motor!

They are so ludicrously small, that 130mm frame leg looks like a giant's leg:

Currently I'm waiting for 1S ESC to arrive to put this motor on a thrust stand. What propeller options should you suggest?
I hope it pulls more than 15g on 1S. We'll see.

Cool!

Something two bladed and light... cut down KingKong 65mm or Ladybird 56mm (perhaps cut as well). Even with the 1103's adding blades only reduces efficiency and gives little to no added thrust. Looking forward to seeing your numbers!

EDIT Also really curious to see the performance of "independent testing" on just the 56mm ladybirds... the 1103 8k's run at 68.3g / 2.9A @ 7.4V ... but they really start to cross at the 1s mark with similar numbers.

Watching with interest. I really can't afford to build any more quads, hope these preform better than the specs suggest and I can purchase a set soon . Wouldn't take long to cut a frame to test them on.....

I always liked the CG023 props on 6mm brushed motors, plus you can trim them down and they still work well. If you have some laying around, probably worth a try. H8 mini props might also be worth a go. This size motor really brings us back to brushed frame design sizes/weights. Its like full circle, incredible.

Well... To the Drafting board...
Hmmm, will probably try to tie these to the tiny ant esc's on 2s...
