Blue Bird Model has been in the RC game since the late 70's and they have been producing affordable quality servos for every aspect of the hobby. They were well known back in the day for sub-micro servos that fit in the smallest of aircraft. Now in the year 2017 they have been able to keep up with this fast paced industry and produce a set of servos that are unique and can cover pretty much all aspects of the industry.
The BLS-H50C/B servos are no joke, not only are they 6-8.5 volt servos, they also have a tremendous torque capability at ranges almost up to 800 oz-in. At 8 volts you can get speeds up to 0.09 sec / 60° which is not too bad considering the amount of abuse these servos can take, that includes hard crashes, or wear and tear. The C stands for Coreless, and the B model is their Brushless version. One of the secrets behind the strength is the helical gear design. The helical design is known to run quieter, and provides superb strength during the meshing process.
