Hi there, need some advice. I'm thinking of buying the mini-q50p with the metal upgrade and brushless motor. And I didn't manage to find any review on it

Should I get this or do you have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance

No, just get the Q7.
Q5OP is the Q5 with aluminium upgrades. Basically it's a very old car with old style suspension. The only good thing about it is that, it looks cool.

The reason you don't find any in-depth review are probably
1. Buyer remorse, you got an old car with some bling but paid more than a competition level car. Actually at this price you can but Atomic SZ which is one of the best pro-level car right now. It's $150 free shipping on rcmart.com, feel free to check it out.
2. I flat out refuse to review it because of the reasons I mentioned earlier. I can't find much nice thing to say to this expensive car apart from it looks shiny.
I actually have the same car but with plastic parts. It's not a bad car by any means. It drives well for both touring and drift but not at very high speed because the suspension can't handle it. So, personally I won't pay 150+ for it with aluminium parts.

Still, it's not as bad as flush your money down the drain with Firelap IW05.

Wah thanks Beaver for the fast reply. This really clear my doubt.

alright, I'll be getting the Q7 then.

Btw I'd like to get the Toyota 86/brz shell, any other parts should get to fit the Q7?

I just happened to check the forums before I went to lunch.

To use GT86/BRZ body you'll need 94mm spur gear. Seems like it's constantly out of stock in hobbyking so I found one in aliexpress.
The code or color is Color: 29T gear 92.

No problem. You only need the gear.
Shaft is the same length for all the wheelbase.

Thanks, Beaver for the tips. 1 more questions. For the rims, I realise that there are 2 types of it, 1 is the rectangular shape hole the other is the round one. Which one should I get?

The rectangular ones. Or the wheels for AWD.

The round hole is for RWD.
