2017 Drone Racing at Kentucky Speedway

AT Drone Racing helped organize the Mega Drone X Race last year in a huge cave system. It was one of the premier events of the year and now they have announced the follow up event that will take place at the Kentucky Speedway. That's right, drone racing is heading to NASCAR in an epic way.

Details are scarce at the moment, but possible dates for the event are looking like June 24th, July 29th, or Sept 2nd. There will be Drone racing, freestyle and possibly Wing racing. Let's hope wing racing happens as that is much more exciting for spectators to take the sport mainstream with. In any case this event is going to be huge and you won't want to miss it.

For more info, check out the AT Drone Racing site here.

Labor Day weekend would be boss, since it is after the conclusion of the MultiGP Regional series. June 24 and July 29 conflict with MultiGP Regional Qualifiers in Cincinnati (Kentucky Speedway's local market) and Detroit.

i know this article is all about drone racing but it would be cool if there were an xo-1 or two balling around the oval.
