Official sound packs are obtained from Companion > File > Download SD Contents
There is now a version file that is checked to help determine that the firmware and sound pack match. No more wrong units due to mismatched firmware and sound files. Checks for the existence and content of opentx.sdcard.version in the root os the SD Card. You can still use your own files but make sure you have this file.

I posted this in the Horus Opentx thread but this may be a better place to ask, if not let me know and I will delete it.

Have pitot speed sensor installed. I would prefer that the telemetry call out just speed numbers but not add "miles per hour" to every repeat. So 56,59,60 not 56 miles per hour, 59 miles per hour, exc. Wouldn't care of it ever used the wave file. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Replace the "mph0.wav" and "mph1.wav" files with empty ones or with files with 0.5 second of silence?

Thanks, didn't know if it would really be that easy. Sweet.

It's just a guess on my end - I've played with replacing sound files around but never used empty ones so I am not sure how OTX will react on those. That is why I suggested 0.5 seconds of silence. You may even try with less than that - the idea is for OTX to be able to correctly process the file rather than looking for a missing file (file renamed or deleted) or a file with no information in it (an empty file).

Ivanc, worked like a champ. Created a very short wave file and replaced mph1 file. Much better.

If you left mph0.wav intact it may read out loud "One mile per hour" if your telemetry happens to return that value.

Anyone come across a list of enhancements/changes/new for OpenTx 2.2?
Other than this reference taken from the release candidate posts on the opentx website.

Not intended to be an exhaustive list of changes, but I've written up my experiences converting a setup from 2.1 to 2.2:

Thanks!
I downloaded RC10 Companion for MAC.
I noticed that GVAR names are still 6 characters. (Taranis + profile if that makes any difference).

Hmmm.... for the Horus it seems to be just 3 characters. There are inconsistencies in N362 for example Companion with Horus setting has 8 character limit for mixer names, the tx firmware only allows 6. I've raised an issue for this on Github.

You were correct. On saving and reopening they were truncated to 3.
I have list of differences which I'm working on with help from the developers. It will be shared soon. I went through issues on GitHub and compared Companion 2.19 with 2.2 RC10.

Were you able to get jpg and png image files to work? Is it only Horus maybe?

Any change a corrupt model file could cause the Horus to lock out a receiver and not reconnect even though the receiver is powered up. I posted in the Horus Opentx thread but I'm looking for any help I can get. Running N362 and updated SD card files.
