Superman Jet Rally 2004

Here's a few teaser photos form the rally, Donnie Lyons, Woody, and myself are working on doing a event report for R/C Power. The number of planes seemed down this year but the weather was fantastic after early this morning. We had a great day and the pilots seemed to get in plenty of flying.

Hopefully Donnie and Woddy will drop some in that they aren't using on the review. I took two gigs of movies and only 60 or so photos. Here's a few more that I won't be using in the report...

What an AWSOME event !! I've never been to a jet rally before , but at just a jog down the super slab , I couldn't pass it up . As Don mentioned , beautiful weekend and a great group of folks that made it happen . Alittle out of my league but a blast just the same . I took some pics of the scale jobs ,and one that's not , that I thought I'd pass on to you guys but forgot to get one of the most impressive F-15 , darn . Any way , enjoy .

One of only 2 prototupe aircraft of this design in the
US for testing and feadback. It was not impressively
fast, top speed at 120+- but for airobatics it was flipping
nose over tailpipe on a dime with the smoke boiling
from the tail pipe

There is a 100K size limit, that might be your problem?

Slow is good! I like slow airplanes; I might get into the jet thing if I can find a nice slow model... maybe a Turbo Porter?

Anyway, nice pictures and some very nice models. Keep them coming!
